My post seems all over the place lately.

I keep getting email notifications saying things I have sent for have been dispatched,  yet a week later they still haven't arrived.   

I did get a flyer come through the door a week or two ago saying about they are only going to deliver 2nd class mail on Mon, Wed, and Fridays in future, so no more Saturday mail unless it is first class.

What I don't understand is,  how can they keep charging us more and more money for doing less and less work?

I too got the same notification flyer..
I don't receive a lot of mail...  However my hospital letters (results/appointments) always arrive.. I don't rely on the post though.. I also have the NHS app that keeps me up to date with my medical records..

The days of love letters.. valentine cards and sending written letters are long gone..

A bloke on the tv a few weeks back said he had received a magazine through the post NINETEEN years after sending away for it.. It was advise on bringing up a new born..  His child is now a teenager..

I seem to get less post these days, one letter was delivered at 7pm, hope they weren't on overtime

Yes,  funny how that always manages to get through, isn't it!

The poor old postie gets the job of dishing out a variety of flyers along with the post these days.

I'm paperless on all my bills and about all I get apart from the odd card is stuff from the NHS, IR, pensions stuff and the rates bill. Few that aren't  spending taxpayer money seem to use them. Even the junk mail is well down. I do get a variety of parcels but very few of those come Royal Mail or Parcel Force.

I find parcels arriving by courier are usually pretty efficient and speedy.
It's if anything is coming by post that it takes forever and a day.
