Not to spend any more good money on a dead lawn..
For a couple of years now my (lawn) has had many bald patches.. I have tried re-seeding for the past couple of years... Top quality seed.. and reading the instructions to the letter.. NOTHING..
The seed start to come through and I'd get excited..  I do not mow young grass.. I  even bought a new mower just to make sure the lawn was getting good treatment... NOTHING.. Bald patches and very little grass..
  I have decided to grow a Clover/Grass lawn plus non flowering Chamomile ..

I think it will be lovely.. I saw Clover grass on Alex's lawn and I loved it..

Advise please.. Looking at information it advises that I mix seeds with sand before scattering .. And avoid covering with soil..
 What sort of sand would I have to use..?
