Sorry to hear Ann Widdecombe has died, she was 78.   A 'game old bird' is the old fashioned description, she was certainly that, from Strictly to I'm a Celebrity , but mainly a politician who spoke her mind RIP

I liked Ann Widdecombe - didn't always agree with her politics - but respected the fact that if she said she would do something - she did.  One of the last trustworthy politicians on the planet..

Apparently she was one of the kindest most genuine of people.. Not in the least bit vain.

I've just found out she was once in Dr Who!!

She obviously had a sense of fun - she gave permission for Victoria Wood to do a parody of her in one of the Christmas shows, and she made a couple of stage appearances in Pantomime. 

Why on earth would anyone want to murder her?
