My Grandmothers knives 
Just worked out they are well over 100 years old

Wow.   Bet today's modern stuff won't last that long.

I haven't got anything of my Nan's,  but I have got some of Mum's old knives,  and also a proper china plate my son had as a toddler, given to him by my Mum.   
 It has got a picture of a train in the middle,  so as he took a bit more food the train used to slowly appear.
Mum had put a note on it saying  "This plate is over 100 yrs old.  Get it valued."   :smiley:

My mum used to stick things on the bottom of things .'  For ..........'
I got my Granddads baccy jar he left  almost no possessions  - the sticker is there still.
