Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

He does pay a security firm, but they aren't allowed to carry guns, as the royal
security people are. His children are the King's grandchildren too.

I'm sorry, but I can't stay on a forum that radiates hate of children or their parents.
It makes me feel rather sick.

Klondike, thank you for your efforts, and I know that not every member is as prejudiced
but it is dominated by the few who are.

I didn't know that, Raven.
That's a shame.

If Harry is paying for a private security detail it will cost him in the region of $ 2mil a year if he is going for 24/7

klondike

And presumably the same goes for taxpayers if he gets a freebie.

Men don't get smarter as we age.  We just run out of stupid stuff to do.

I don't think that anyone here  "radiates hate of children or their parents ."
I think it was an awful thing to say.

Why on earth should the long suffering taxpayer pay for this ( multimillionaire) man's children ( who are amply provided with free security when they are in the royal residences ) when their own children have to take their chances on the streets .

He was offered Buckingham Palace for his stay , how much more secure can you get ?

That's a shame.

That was her last post Mups, I remembered reading it a few days back. I copied/pasted it.
Hopefully she'll come back.

GrannyMac

A wee bit of an overreaction IMO.  It's not always what is said, but how it's said.  Hopefully she'll rethink.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Oh.. That is sad.. I never saw the post about her leaving..
Everyone is entitled to their opinion.. Many a time it differs with another member..
I don't recall anyone saying that they 'hated'  any child or parent..
It is a shame that a member leaves because they do not agree with what is being discussed..

I did make my opinions clear... I will not pay any thing out of my meagre income  toward the security of someone who is worth millions and can pay their own..
He is a spoilt overpriviledged (child)...
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Vlad

He is going to need a few Bob to pay for his failed court case against the Daily Mail

GrannyMac

He certainly is.  Perhaps the profits from Megan's jam might cover the costs. 😋

Profits from jam.. !! She didn't get rich stirring THAT pot..

I think the Daily Mail might sue for their legal costs.. I do hope so..

Like his uncle Andy did. Not sure if Mummy or big bro cropped for that.

I imagine costs would have already been awarded.

You're right on that one Scrumps.

Quote from the newspaper:

Meghan & Harry quit the UK in 2020 when they stepped down as senior royals.  They live in a £11 million mansion in Montecito, California.
Meghan's jam-making business has not been a roaring success, and their £75 million Netflix deal was cancelled last year.

A Netflix source said:  "They need a strong connection to the UK to be relevant in the U.S. People only care about the fact that Harry is Diana's son.  Their only currency is their proximity to the Royal Family".
