Mini Skirts or Pelmets ?

I walked the dog out early this morning and on the way back met a bunch of schoolgirls trailing to the bus stop .
They were all teenage girls and were all wearing what appeared to be pelmets .
They could not possibly bend over more than a centimetre or go up one step without revealing all ,
I am of the mini skirt generation but really these were shorter than short .
Am I getting prudish in my old age or is too short really too short ?

 My mum would look at me when I was dressed to go out .. High knee boots .. mini skirt.. tight jumper..

There's mini and there's mini  !   We all loved our mini skirts and hot pants but today's kids    blimey  are they trying to outdo us ?

I suspect that they are avoiding school dress codes by rolling them up after they are out of the place. Lots of jailbait everywhere and always has been.

In last week's heatwave,  I saw some girls walking along in what can only be described in bra and knickers,  they are not even what we would call shorts,  they are just like knickers with a bikini top.

I know we should be allowed to wear what we want,  but I can see why some girls get the wrong sort of attention from weirdo's.

I remember him saying OOOhh I love the summer. All them little cotton bras.
I'm fairly certain he didn't mean wearing them but you never know

Back in the day my immediate boss had an old even at the time Mk7 Jag. They didn't have a pressed steel chassis - they just welded a few railway tracks together and bolted bits to that along with chromed steel bumpers stronger than bull bars. 

Anyway he'd run this beast into the back of a mini in town writing off the mini and putting a tiny twist in his bumper. Turns out the accident wasn't his fault at all. Apparently a young mum had picked an inappropriate moment to bend over her Silver Cross pram to attend to the occupant causing an obvious distraction which led to him failing to stop when the mini did. It isn't obvious why the mini stopped either come to that
