Bombers

It's a lovely day here in Wiltshire.
Yet overhead there is a constant passing of bombers from Fairford going to the ME.
We are on the flight path .
I hope that they all come back safely .

Oh, Muddy, that made me think of the old b&w WW2 films -  when the aeroplanes were 'scrambled' and parents, wives, and loved ones counted them out and counted them back - those who made it back.  How very sad that it is still happening.

Why he chose to believe the lying Iranians who had no intention of making peace but were just playing for time I don't know .

I don't think he has the same backing anymore in the US, at least not as he did at the start of this conflict

He's 80 years old .
All this may well be the end of him .
The sooner Marco Rubio takes power the better .

It wont be Rubio if Trump steps down as he isn't VP that's JD Vance. Rubio could get the nomination next time but the more usual choice is the VP. I guess it depends on whether MAGA retain their control of the Republican party.
