Both are readily available - guess where - Amazon!  Is there anything they do not sell?

Oh yes,  condensed milk,  I'd forgotten about that.
My ex-husband used to like that stuff,  but just the look of it used to put me off.  I remember he used to eat it out of the tin with a teaspoon.

I'm quite surprised about the condensed milk still.   I haven't seen that stuff for about 50 years.

We used to have Carnation (evaporated milk) with fruit.  Condensed milk makes great caramel in tarts, but the sugar content must be horrific.

Yes I remember now it was evaporated milk on tinned fruit.

.i have done that ( and felt ill afterwards ) it's incredibly addictive .
