This awful heat

I am desperate for a rant!

Why are some humans so evil?
I can hardly believe they are having horse racing from Newmarket  in this heat!!   Ba****rds.

Where are the animal welfare people?
Where are the RSPCA who are always asking for money?
What about the Horseracing authorities?


I just read this too:

" The British Horseracing Authority's hot weather policy states that where racecourses fall within a red warning zone, the fixture will be abandoned.
In addition, horses must not be transported from or through areas that have red warnings in place."


So why are they allowing racing today? 
To line their wallets even more.  They don't give a damn about the horses making  the money for them.

I have just been talking to a friend who is into film and tV horses .
They are all working full on at various venture jousting and shows !

Woke annoyingly early. Took opportunity to open back door to cool house a bit. Not that it's all that cool out at nearly 20°C but cooler than downstairs where I saw it had only cooled to 27°C overnight.

At least i can take an early walk to the supermarket to get a few bits without frying.

Saw forecast saying it would be easing back a bit by the weekend. Only gas mk7 rather than 9. Soon be moaning about it being chilly for the time of year.

Pool at lunchtime for an aqua aerobics class, I could have stayed in the water 💦   Popped to Morrisons, the air conditioning was bliss.

Dozed in front of a fan this afternoon, even getting the washing in felt like hard work, no breeze, just roasting sunshine.  ☀️
