I didn't look - Klondike said it was lost so I was trying to help!  Am I allowed to thump him for misleading me?

klondike

I didn't say it was lost. In fact I didn't see it here at all and said I should have saved it. I don't think either are the actual one I saw. Looks like they are being churned out.

Men don't get smarter as we age.  We just run out of stupid stuff to do.

The joke is exactly the same,  but the people in each joke are different in each ad.

By the way,  there's talk of it getting up to 30°  next Monday.

Yes, that was not good, was it.
They are saying 30°   about mid-week now, but at least the nights are cooler than they were before.

It was 38 degrees in my garden yesterday .
I have never known such heat in the U.K. .
My lawn is developing huge great cracks .

I've really had more than enough of it Muddy,  so have the poor dogs.

My lawn is getting deep cracks now too.   I poured some water down a crack yesterday, expecting it to quickly fill and run out the top,  but it didn't.
The water just kept disappearing down the crack fast,  so it must be very deep.    I stopped wasting the water in the end because it just continued to disappear down the hole like it was going to Australia.

I had to hose Mungo down yesterday he was so distressed .
It worked a treat he stopped panting ,it brought down his body temperature very quickly
We took him out for a walk at 9.pm it was lovely then

I gave Nemo a rub down with a wet towel, then left him sprawled in front of his own small electric fan - he loves it and I am happy that he is keeping cool.  I did offer to shave his fur off - but that didn't go down too well.
