The motion was "Is the West Right to be suspicious of Islam "

Jacob Rees Mogg ( who had to call the police to tell them to act as the protesters where blocking the entrance )

The police operation to contain the nutters apparently  cost 80,000. For that amount I would have expected some batons and pepper sprays and I would like to see them used .
Rent a mob needs to learn to behave.

Really listening to that lot one almost wishes a real Nazi complete with jackboots  would come and show them how a Nazi looks and behaves .
Of course that means most of them would be dead .
Nazis being in the main short tempered and brutal and I doubt would be impressed by a man  with blue hair dressed in a frock .

I can't see him returning to politics anyway tbh. He still dreams of a merger between Conservative and Reform despite agreeing with most Reform policies. He knows an awful lot about the constitution and how government works and would be an excellent addition to Reform but doesn't seem to think they will ever become the government

I think JRM would bring a more balanced academic view to the debate .
I haven't seen or heard it - I would like to. 
He's is for all his affectations and Toryism a decent man .
