Should children learn poetry

The children are fine mups.. They just have to read the instructions on the packet..
Sewing !! Not needed.. Primark will provide a cheap replacement.. 
Nobody taught me how to put a flatpack together.. paste and wallper a wall..
The internet is full of useful information...

I agree Klondike 
My so fondly imagines his children ( late teens ) will be leaving home soon to make their own way.
I don't like to disillusion him .
My other grandchild is 21 but has no more hope of getting her own place that fly to the moon .
Tiny flats are going for £350 in their area .
People say move then but you have to go where you can work .
