But the pair of them would have stayed outside and got soaked, not in the mood for rubbing down and brushing off so inside they went. 😉

I was expecting rain here today. It had rained a little overnight and was still drizzling when I got up but nothing so far since although I made sure I took a fold up waterproof when I went out. Rain forecast tomorrow. Will it> My bet yes - in the afternoon at least because I have a hospital appointment then and walk because the parking is so bad. I should really investigate the buses I suppose.

You didn't have much rain because it all came here instead.  

At school time this morning it was really, really heavy rain,  you would have been soaked through in seconds.
It has rained on and off all day since,  though sunny as I write.

They said on the local tea time news that there have been over 6,000 lightning strikes over the UK today!!

Thanks. It's just a routine eye check they've been doing. You get whipped from test to test then eventually out the door.
