So much has happened in our life time .

The rate of change is increasing too.

On Everest hundreds now successfully climb it each year. There'll be  cafe on top soon like Snowdon.

Apparently its just a long queue of people who have paid thousands of pounds to climb it .
And if you fall by the wayside they will walk on by and your body will stay there forever

My parents were great Munroe Baggers they didn't do them all but they did do a lot. I wasn't interested but Regan my daughter and her husband have been doing them over the last ten years or so. Great for them and long may they enjoy it. Me, I'd rather stroll the the low slopes with dogs for company. Not quite everest but I enjoyed it.
