Was 85 a day or so ago .
I must admit I think he has a terrible voice but he is one of the icons of the sixties .

Thanks for the memory. 

I didn't know that he wrote that and remember it more from the Byrds version which made it big here.

He may not have a good voice but its a lot better than mine and was a big influence back in the day.

He is a voice of the past that brings back many memories.... He wrote and sang Blowing in the Wind..

Joan Baez was much more to my taste .
And still is ,I love her songs and her voice ( she helped Bob Dylan to stardom )
I wanted to look like her and play the guitar like her ( never did master the  guitar )
But her voice for me is the one of the great voices  of the sixties
