Can you remember roughly when you bought your present mobile?
How long do you hope it will last before you need to replace it?

Lastly,  how do you know when it needs replacing -  unless it has completely conked out of course.

I think my present Samsung is about 3 years old.   Do others consider that's old,  or still young-ish?

I was shocked to see some new phones are over £1,000 now!!   People must have more money than sense to pay that.

I usually get another one when one of my grandchildren busts theirs and it isn't near their birthday or Christmas. They get my old one.

I go with the Samsung A5n series which is the top end of their cheaper range. I have an A55. That's about a couple of years old. Current model is A57. They bump the last digit each time they release a new one. A 3 year old phone should still be fine imo.
