I'm at Center Parcs in Notts, it's 30 degrees here. Went to the pool early doors, almost melted walking back, sitting inside reading now. It's peaceful, even the teens are lazing about rather than off seeking adventure/spending money etc.  There's a tiny breeze through the patio doors atm, I may well nod off.

Me too, Michael, been having my afternoon nap, it's 20°C in here at the minute.
I don't know what it is outdoors. I see the trees are moving in the slight breeze.

I don't particularly like storms but would give anything for one now

I heard some rumbles and the sky was black to the east but it didn't amount to anything here.

We had rumbles here too,  and just as I finished watering,  it began raining!  Big heavy drops too,  not like normal rain.  It rained on and off for about an hour roughly.

We heard some thunder, then nothing.  No rain. ☔️ But its much cooler.
