It's a lovely day here in Northumberland, it's 18 °C, sunny, and my windows are open. 
My carer tells me that there are a lot of people out and about in this small town.

Really warm now, i've been at the charity shop this morning, they have the aircon on now. Last week it was the heating!  Washing on line, will sit in garden after lunch.

Took the dog out at 7 a.m. this morning while it was cool. Plenty of dogs and joggers around that time of morning.

Crackin t' flags up here in god's own county (that's Yorkshire to you Southerners   )  today - 31degc so far. 


Cooling down to 28degc tomorrow apparently.

⚠️ The EUMETNET - MeteoAlarm has issued a Moderate thunderstorm warning on 26 May for Northamptonshire.


Whilst many areas will miss them and remain hot and sunny, isolated thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and into the evening. These could bring frequent lightning, large hail, gusty winds and the potential for 30 mm of rain in less than an hour.
