A nice fresh..

.. bread roll.
I can't be bothered to cook today and I don't fancy a ready meal.
I am going to have a bread roll (white) with some ham..
What would your filling be.. ?

Bacon.

Always bacon.

Not that I have anything against pigs so leave the ham out to make that clear.

A nice crisp lettuce leaf on the side as they are slimming. Especially it uneaten.

If not filling enough put in more bacon.

If it's for breakfast then scrambled egg. But my breakfast is normally a smoothie.

If it's for brekkie,  maybe scrambled eggs on toast.

If it's for lunch,  a toasted Ham & Cheese sarnie.   Yummy.

Some shop bought thinly sliced roast beef between two slices of bread
with Lurpak and a very little English mustard, for tea.
A Tesco ready meal for lunch. With thanks to today's carer.

My favourite sandwich is egg and cress..
Bacon in a roll does not taste the same as in between two slices of bread.

I prefer sandwiches but at the end of the day the important thing is the bacon. 

Mind when the priest laughed at the rabbi because he was allowed no bacon he asked the priest had he never sampled the delights of a young lady from his flock. 

The priest blushed and admitted that yes he had. To which the rabbi asked better than bacon isn't it?
