For many years I have problems with my white and red blood cell and every 3 months going for blood test. Normally have been seeing the consultant assistance. Made me sit up and notice I was now seeing Dr Jones the top man. in his report no sign of Myelodlodysplasia but with the change in red blood cells it could appear. As far as I can see no cure.

Surely if there are no signs showing and the top man tells you this ... This could be a good sign.. !!

It was in a report he sent to my doctor, who sent me a copy. Its quite strange really that with my condition I should catch every bug going round,  and the reason I was told to isolate for 12 months. I have had the flu once in 1964 and a common cold several years ago. At 82 years I have had a very good innings so not going to worry about it.
