Mups

A couple of posts made in the Boring thread, made me wonder about our sleep patters changing.

Do you find your need for sleep has changed much over the years?
Do you still set an alarm clock like we did when we had to get up for work, or do you just get up when you wake up?

I have always slept quite a lot, even as a child.   I remember my Mum used to come and wake me up for school,  and as soon as she left the bedroom, I would nod straight off again.

I personally feel better if I've had 8 or even 9 hrs sleep,  as long as its quality sleep, and not disturbed by aches and pains or just can't get off to sleep for some reason.   Its annoying when that happens.

So how many hours do you need to feel well rested and ready for the new day?

I rarely sleep more than 7 hours and it's usually less.

Like you, Mups, I need a lot of sleep, but now it is no longer a solid eight
or nine hours.

I can easily nod off watching the tv in the afternoon.
