Buying 'flippin' trousers

I use a normal kettle, a Bosch which I've had since September 2015  ! you can choose the temperature and there's a keep warm button.   It won't shorten trousers though   😎

What amazes me is the price they ask for posh but ordinary kettles when you can get a serviceable cheap one from a supermarket for less than a tenner (or a least you could - I haven't kept track of pricing).

I mostly  like the one cup one for it's speed. It does save some electricity as you only heat what water you use but I imagine even at today's prices you'd need to boil a lot of cups for any saving to catch up with the higher cost.
