Sorry all, I thought Farage and Robinson were on friendly terms.
However, my opinion of either remains unchanged.

They are both dangerous and unscrupulous men.

I fear for the UK if Farage gets into power.

Quote from: Alex on Yesterday at 06:18:16 PMThere are many ex Tories in Reform, about 12 are well known.  The rest were back benchers and local councillors from towns across the UK.  Nobody wants Reform to become the Tories Mk II so after 7th May no more members of the Tory party were accepted into Reform.

The party has 270,000 members, there's at least three on here !  My way of looking at it is the Tories were shyte, Labour IS shyte, may as well give the new kids on the block a shot at it.  I just hope I'm still here to see it happen.

Thanks for the explanation Alex, I really don't like Politics and tend to tune out when it comes up, though I do pick up a few bits along the way. Getting that way with Scottish Politics as well, I've been really fed up with them all lately and I'm really pissed at the Nats as well. Bet you never thought you'd hear that from me eh?

NOPE ! certainly didn't, I thought St Nicola and friends were forever in your heart
What about the new fella in Holyrood, Q Manivannan ?  I really can't imagine sensible, patriotic Scots voting for him/her - but they did.

Alex I think they're all heading for the loony bin. As for that new Ladd, well, crazy and I believe it will cause trouble before long.

How do you feel about Scottish Nationalism? I'm half Scottish and very much
 prefer the status quo.

I'm Scottish, born and bred, but I live in Yorkshire. I've never been an SNP supporter, but rather them than the Greens! Alex mentioned Dr Q Mannivannan.  MP who needs a visa. 🙄. Only in the Greens could it happen.

I'm still recovering from seeing the clown Polanski gyrating in a black leather outfit on TV last night.

The transgender thing bemuses me. There used to be the odd (very) pantomime dame occasionally and more often women with short hair wearing suits who I assumed were just lesbians but they were certainly the exception. In fact they still seem to be except in public life or the entertainment business. I blame Starmer.

Oh, I missed that. Hopefully, he won't last long..... I wish he'd get his teeth fixed.
Perhaps some billionaire will pay for them like fag-ash Farage gets money to 'protect'
him.

I think most MPs try to get a 'Freebie'..
They know their 5 mins of fame is short lived .. so they work harder at lining their own pockets..
Meanwhile the country goes to pot.. I doubt they really care..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

That is only too true.
Plus, their cheap meals and booze in the HoC.

The billionaire gave Nigel Farage an unconditional personal gift for security, not politics.   At the time Farage had stepped away from public life entirely. Same billionaire also donated 12 million pounds to the Reform coffers.

Personally, knowing how the British media hounds Nigel Farage, it might have been more prudent if, when he actually became an MP, he had declared this money.

He'll be saving a few bob on security soon when he is PM

Possibly even gets some at public expense now. He probably should.

I thought he'd have realised everything he does is scrutinised to the nth degree, and he should have declared it.
