Well, at least we should change Prime Ministers. :V:

The only reason he wasn't binned before is that they knew this was coming and needed a fall guy. As a lot if not all of the problems are down to him if you include appointing Reeves that will be karma.

Seems that he isn't much of a chooser when it comes to appointing somebody for the top jobs.

Should have remained in his chosen field of Law, and stayed an Attorney.

If the party has lost faith in its leader it can challenge the leadership but the challenger must be a clear winner .
The present likely candidates are Angela Rayner , Andy Burnham and Wes Streeting

Starmer could ask the King to dissolve parliament and then call a general election .
I can't see him doing that .
The Labour government has been democratically elected and therefore has three more years to rule

Scrumpy

They can change leadership again and again..
It will do no good..
As was shown when Conservatives were in government..

What it does show is Reform are strengthening..
And Labour are becoming weaker..

Gone are the days when the choice was Labour or Conservative..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

There are issues with each of those.
Ange still has unfinished business with the tax man. Plus Labour results Oop North in the council elections were dire. Would she be returned at the next election? Mind you that must be true for most of the party.
Andy King of the North Burnham needs to win a by election first. Can any labour candidate win a by election now?
The Labour left wingers won't like Streeting. He isn't a Marxist for starters.

These local elections have clarified the future for Labour.  At last, the majority of people have begun to realise what absolute crap Labour are, especially their present PM.
TwoTier will continue to try to remain in charge, but hopefully his desperate party will insist on him resigning and then they will choose a replacement who, I am sure, will be equally incompetent.  They will, however, refuse to permit an early general election in their desperation!  Consequently, I think we shall have to wait until 2029 and simply hope for the best that they won't totally ruin the country over the next three years.

QANTAS does. As a matter of fact all airlines can and do.

Be that as it may, as I recall, the labour conference actually nominates the cabinet, the prime minister only decides who gets what ministry. I may be wrong because Blair removed a lot of inner party democracy, including conference deciding policy.

Yes hard to believe Attlee had to get his policies from the conference. After Blair the leader decides the line and the conference is an assembly of clapping seals.
