But unbelievably while  some Holocaust  survivors are still alive  it's all sparking up again.

Except now it's the "acceptable" face of anti semitism .

British Jews are living in fear ( what other sector of society needs security guards on primary schools ? ) 
Or ( Jewish ) school children who cannot even wear their blazers to school for fear of being targeted ? 

And the sound of some Keyffiah swathed idiot screaming "free Palestine " makes me feel quite sick .
( usually by some middle aged middle class women and maybe her unemployed  privileged kids fresh off the fun flotilla  ) 

I am pleased that increasingly countries are banning the chants of "globalise the intifada ' 
We should do it here like yesterday .

Anti semitism really is something I simply don't understand. It can have nothing to do with Gaza because it predates the place by centuries. I can only surmise there must be some religious  reason. Trying to understand anything based on religion is, at least for me, an exercise in futility.

been banned from Britain. I remember my mother talking about
a friend being 'Jewed' - cheated. Whether the cheat was really
Jewish, I was too young to ask.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a different matter; it is about 
land as well as hate. 

The Bible says there will always be war and rumours of war.

Personally, I don't know any specific Jews, and I don't specifically support Jews in all respects.
However, I have never found or even thought anything that turns me against them.

What I do know, and I do detest, is people who for no specific reason seem to detest the Jews generally.
Why?  Why do some people detest them?  Does anyone know of any particular reason for this?

The " Palestinians " a name invented by Yasser Arafat in 1964 have been offered a state over six times since 1948
They have refused all offers
This is because they don't want peace they want the elimination of Israel .
They had Gaza
Israel  withdrew completely in 2005
What did they do with it ?
One of the best pieces of real estate in the world .
With the billions of international aid poured into it in the over the nearly two decades of Hamas rule they build tunnels in order to attack Israel .
They could have made it the Singapore of the Middle East
But no they want the destruction of Israel .
Oct 7th was not about land it's was about murdering  Israelis .
Backed by Iran and Qatar they thought the rest of the ME would join them and destroy Israel .
They were wrong

Well said, Mud.  I fully agree.
I should be very happy to see Israel retake Gaza, and having done so, deport all of their enemies.
What Israel would gladly do, is something that our leaders would never even consider.

All I know is I'd prefer a Jewish family living next door to me, rather than a Muslim one.  Apart from Jewish people being mostly friendly, have you heard of all the technology advances made by Israel and shared with the rest of the world  ?  There's a whole list of their inventions from flexible stents to USBs and Firewalls !

What Scrump says - jealousy, but also it is obvious that muslims hate them, probably because Israel took control of part of the world which was previously largely muslim.  Of course, long before that, the area was a majority Jewish area ever since before the time of Christ.

The two religions are complete opposites and, generally speaking I would much prefer to live in a Jewish area rather than a muslim area, having once lived in Bradford and seen how most of the muslims behave.
