Is going to replace the Legacy Act .
This is going to mean trouble for military veterans who served in Northern Ireland .
The SAS a is especially incensed at the Bill which means that many British veterans now elderly can be  dragged through the courts.

Who would join the army if you can be pursued by your own government decades later for acts that happened in wartime ?

Our government's seem to hold terrorists in higher esteem than those who risked their lives to protect the public from them.

The terrorists were pretty much granted immunity from prosecution by the Good Friday agreement. Our soldiers should have been granted the same.

Ah  I see this may be related to Iraq rather that Northern Ireland. Still a long time ago to be muck raking.

I was thinking of NI too.
But it doubtless pertains to Iraq or any other conflict .
