Apart from being a shitty thing to do, :boo:  it seems a stupid thing to do, :worried:  petrol stations have CCTV and record the forcourt. All the police have to do is check the number plate and trace the vehicle. Or is this something else they can't be bothered to do.

Was speaking to a staff member in Tesco this morning as I nearly fell over a young guy sat in the doorway with a begging cup. He was in everyone's way and wouldn't move, he wanted money and he was making sure you knew it. THEN, I looked along and there was another begger at the far door. I moaned about them and the woman said they couldn't do anything about it now, new laws. Also told me they weren't able to tackle shop lifters either, again new law.  :wtf:
We could do with Brian up here to have a very stern word and scare them off I'm going to try Lidil or the Co-op next time as I'm sick of this every time I go to Tesco.  :yell:

Mups

I fully agree with you, Raven.

As you say, I would have thought it was easy enough to trace a petrol thief.

As for the beggars sitting outside shops,  it's the same here,  only we've got it at Tesco,  and Iceland, and  M&S and Asda.     I can't remember seeing them at Waitrose for some reason though.
A lady on the tills at Asda once told me that the bloke who is always outside their shop gets picked up in a BMW every night!    I suspect half of them work for gang masters.

I saw the Security people at B&Q  nab a woman shoplifter a few weeks back, too.
It's getting a bit scary in the towns nowadays isn't it.
