Let's hope. Robins can pick some very odd places to nest. They've used some ivy that goes over a wall in my gardening the past.

I have nest boxes but customers are rare. Somebody, I assume the council, put up a few bat and nest boxes on the spindly trees along a pathway I use quite regularly recently. No idea about the bat boxes but at least one of the next boxes appears to be in use.

They're well hidden at the moment. My granddaughter has been taking sneaky pics, of the eggs, then the chicks.  Both parents seem to be in attendance.

Trouble is,  while they were eggs they were silent.   Now they will be making a noise,  so I hope they manage to  stay safe from predators.

What sort of birds are the parents?
