Apparently a warning about mobility scooters. Less of a problem these days here as those pesky pensioners can't afford the electric

I think those electric bikes are more dangerous.

Of course, we all know now that all bicycles are free to ride anywhere on the road, either side and, of course on the pavement.

I read in the paper this weekend that there were over 400 fires last year from when those damn things burst into flames.

Same happens with some electric cars, doesn't it.
I wonder why?      
Our electrical things at home don't suddenly burst into flames do they  - fingers crossed.

It's the Lithium batteries. If damaged or incorrectly charged they go into thermal runaway and burn without even requiring air so they are a bugger to put out. Just another reason why the electric cars currently being produced can never take the place of all other types. They will have top pull back on the 2030 deadline but my betting is they won't as there has to be an election by 2029 which they know they can't win soi they'll just leave that particular problem along with our destroyed economy as a gift for their successors.

I'm not certain those signs are actually genuine BTW. I've only seen them online. They are supposed to be Polish ones.
