Today I had a hospital appointment at ENT ..
The doctor was checking my ears  along with my sinus problem..
She was asking me questions whilst wearing a mask ..
Not only that she spoke with a foreign accent..
She asked me if I had trouble hearing..
I replied 'Only when someone is talking to me whilst wearing a mask'..
She saw the funny side of my remark.. She was a lovely person..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Scrumps,  exactly the same thing has happened to me -  twice.

An ENT consultant, foreign accent, and masked.   Must have been the same one you had!
THe second time was one of my GP's.  I struggled to understand her through her mask when i sat in front of her,  but didn't stand a cat in hell's chance over the phone later.

I came out of the consultation no wiser than when entering..

I worked it out.. No operation required.. Nasal wash...
Will be seen again in six months time..

I waited FIVE months to be seen..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Yes.  I use them quite a lot.    A chap at Northampton hospital told me to,  and they were even giving away free samples at the time.
It is called  NeilMed sinus rinse,  and I usually get the box of 60 satchets with bottle.
I had to use it for a while before it started making a difference though,  it didn't clear mine after just one go.
