Renewing Driving Licence On Line

WELL !   I went to the Post Office with my licence and application form in hand, spoke to the woman on the desk she said she'd have to take my photo.  "What Now? "  says I it was blowing a gale and my hair was a mess, no lippy on..but I had no choice.  She took details from my licence and I thought that would be it, it wasn't.   Today I received a message from Driving Licence place saying that I'd confirmed my identity at the Post Office and I could now log on to "One Log In" so I did without a hitch and I applied to renew my licence.   So the Post Office woman didn't do it, she just confirmed my identity 🥺   What was that all about ?
