Who did she see.!!

My next door neighbour Val is 91.. She has dementia.. She can not speak.. She always recognises me .. her face lights up.. and her arms stretch out to cuddle me..

I was outside with Hattie.. Val and David (husband) drew up in their car..
 When she got out of the car her face lit up to see me.. She was puzzled when looking at Hattie..
Then there was a spark.. a smile .. a kiss and hug.. She held Hattie's face in her hands..
Who did she see there !! Could it have been my daughter Marnie.. who is Hattie's mother..
 It doesn't matter.. What matters is that Val was smiling..
