Mr M has complained about my oldest trackie bottoms those that I wear for gardening and dog walking and painting .( ie that means most of the time )

Actually he's not one to  usually  make comments on my sartorial elegance but I must admit he may have a point .
They are not even bag lady material .

I wonder if they would go in the  compost bin but I expect they would take forever to rot down .

Dusters perhaps ?

( I rarely dust if I can help it )

It's the bin for them poor things trusty faithful old trackies 😥

I had the same problem with a pair of faithful old slippers years ago.  In the end we buried them in the garden and gave them a fitting send off. I should add there was plenty of plonk sloshing about at the ' event'

Looking in the glass and seeing our teeth smiling back at us.

I have a dressing gown that I bought from Reedman's (anyone remember that shop?) when we lived in our last house. We've been here 21 years!

It's warm, comfortable and very shabby, but it's my favourite!  I do have others. 😁
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

I have a favourite bra.. It is so old it does nothing for my boobies ... But... She is so comfy .. you would hardly know you are wearing one..
All my new ones just sit in the drawer.
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Or even worse,  looking in the glass and seeing NO teeth smiling back at us.

Speaking personally, I am only 73, but I'm sad that when I grow old I unfortunately may not still have my attractive good looks.

That's easy to solve JBR.

All you have to do it take your glasses off before you look in the mirror and you will look as dashing as ever.

Eventually you need to squint too of course. Best bet is to get an old photo enlarged to stick over it. You might even get away with one of somebody else when you get old enough. I can lend you one of me. Bound to make you happier.

Oh, I agree.  Not on the mirror, perhaps, but I have photos of me all over the house just to remind me, and Marge of course, of how handsome I look.
