Many a true word spoken in jest. I can remember using the London Co-op, and I felt really bad having to interrupt the shop assistants' conversations. That was before mobile phones of course and before the London Co-op went bust.

Daytime telly is getting worse with adverts.   So depressing.  All either Cancers,  or Cremations.
I just mute everything as soon as the programme takes a break now, 'cos I know what's coming.

I expect they think anyone who has telly on during the day must be old and decrepit,  so put all these 'dying'  ads on to cheer us up!

I never watch daytime telly but I've always got the radio on.  I had a letter through the post last week from Pure Cremation !  I just wonder how they got my name and address  :hmm:  :hmm:

Perhaps they employ people to walk around and notice where us 'oldies ' live..
