Lunatic parking

There are no marked bays in the parking outside my house. Sometimes it can be full. I used to park right at the end on the left in the picture as that spot is hard to see driving down the road so is usually still free when I return and doesn't involve reverse parking on the main road. I stopped that after I found that one of the many delivery vans that tag on in front past the parking bay and well onto the pavement to keep clear of the bollards had swung in a bit too sharply and badly scuffed the wheel arch plastic cover on the car I had at the time.
.

As you will see in the top picture of this sequence the parking is pretty much empty apart from my car earlier on

Then the bloke who bought the house next door hoping to turn it into an HMO arrived and instead of pulling in in front of me into the huge open space in front of his house pulled quite hard in behind me. I'm OK or at least will be until somebody visits the vets next but 2 and reverses hard up to my car.

Then along comes somebody else in a big SUV and drives right up behind him.

Now the bloke next door will still be able to get out but he doesn't usually go til about school run time when the traffic going past is really heavy and either going hell for leather or stopped entirely by the constantly in use pedestrian crossing further down. That will make getting out from that spot a PITA unless the SUV goes first which I suppose is likely as I haven't noticed that one before

I always like to make things easy for myself and leave enough space in front to get out without even reversing. I have found before that some people must have wheels that turn horizontally judging by how close to me they leave their cars

I've always known you were round the bend, Klondy.      (sorry,  couldn't resist it).

No,  seriously, that looks a dodgy place to have to park right on that bend,  let alone allt he pot holes.

I live on a nasty bend too,  but luckily I have a driveway big enough for two cars so I don't have to leave my car on the road.
There have been 3 accidents on this bend here,  one I posted where the druggie wrote my car off if you remember.
Another one smashed my front wall down, and the third knocked the lampost down.

I am sure that is not a bend Mups.. It is just how the camera angles.. Isn't it..?
Luckily I am not on a busy road.. Little school opposite but the children are transported to the school in cars/buses... and they all enter the property.. the road is only busy for five mins.. morning and afternoon..
Klondike doesn't seem to have off road parking..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I'm could easily park ten or so cars in my yard which only lets onto a quiet lane, although with lanes closed here there and everywhere, it's busier than usual

Couldn't you move right to the front so nobody can get in front and you're free to drive straight out ?

Actually the road is straight  - the camera is 180° view which causes a bit of distortion. The "pot holes" are just dead leaves which the council don't seem top ever clear up unless somebody complains.

Oh and it's all empty again now. Must have been a flying visit from the bloke next door unless he has gone to hire a more powerful pneumatic drill. Perhaps he's been made deaf by the one he's been using so far and thinks it is busted.

Oh,  sorry.    In front of the first car, it looked like about 5 great big pot holes in the picture.
