I totally agree with that, Mac. 
 
The way they plaster their pantomime dame  make-up on always makes me cringe for a start.  No real woman looks anything like that.

Then they overdress,  over make-up,  over exaggerate gestures, and speech,  but after all their grand efforts,  they open their mouth and a man's voice still comes out! 

It's funny we always  used to laugh at the pantamine dame but now she / he has become a bizarre reality it not funny anymore.

Yes,  these men dressed as women don't seem to have a clue about subtlety do they.   
It is the very gaudiness of them  that gives the game away in seconds.
