Why does that not surprise me?  I have mentioned elsewhere that many criminals these days get nothing more than a telling off!

Yes, I suppose our prisons are now full, but that wouldn't stop me. 
Step 1: 6 to a cell sleeping two to a bunk, and a 15 minute exercise period out of the cell per day.
Step 2: prison camps for those who are here illegally, just like we had in the war.

Sentences should involve at least an element of punishment as well as 'nice persuasion'.

Because the majority voted in a government who welcomed all into the country who they knew would support them when the votes were counted..
 That is the only way Labour have any chance of being elected..
It would never surprise me if the same government were voted in again and again..
They breed ... they overrun many areas.. 
The more there are the more the votes..
Unfortunately Starmer and future governments will eventually be pushed aside when no longer needed..
Starmer is too thick to see this..
