Gorgeous boy,  (the dog  ),   enjoying his belly rub.

I remember many years ago,  when one of my GSD pups was returned to me by the Met. Police, because they couldn't train him to hold/bite,  so he was no use to them.

May I sneak this piccy  in of my old Ben please?
These little kittens look all wet and spiky because Benny had been washing and washing them.

A friend of mine had seen a plastic carrier bag moving about in a rubbish skip.   He reached in and took the bag out,  and it was a little bundle of 4 kittens.   They were not even weaned at the time, so I had to bottle feed them at first.

Ben was so gentle with them, and used to wash them every day.  I could trust him with anything.

He really looks like the proud dad. Well Stepdad.

Always claimed Fleur was a police dog in plain clothes and that she would go for the ankles - not that she ever did

My daughter had a big old  softie dog. He'd walk around with one of our Yorkies who was a bit of a devil hanging on his leg.

Thank you folks.     :upvote:

Here he is again  with Zoe,  another one of mine.  The a baby Lamb with them  had been dumped at the market, and was very poorly.  Poor little mite still had its umbilical cord on when my friend found it,  but it could hardly breathe. She brought it straight to me.

I always reckoned it was either born on the way to market,  or perhaps in a pen when the sheep arrived there.   It's breathing was all  'bubbly, '   you could hear it on its chest.   Some meds from the vet, and a bed in a warm kitchen gradually sorted it out.   I called him 'Buttons.'

He was growing well by the time the  picture was taken.
