Something GrannyMac just said made me think  -

If money was no object,  what would be your choice of a bit of pampering, just to treat yourself and unwind?

Would the men perhaps like a  chauffeur driven Limo to take them to a  Sauna,  followed by a lovely massage?
Or would it be something completely different as a treat and relax?

Would the ladies like a gentle massage with exotic oils by a hunky Adonis?
Perhaps followed by a  good beauty treatment or nice hair-do?

For me,  I think a nice massage from scalp to toes would be a good start,  with lovely soothing music in the background.  A view, and smell  of the sea would round it  all off beautifully.

Or would your bit of pampering be something entirely different?

Nothing wrong with dreaming ey.

Enjoy your dreams. For my part none of that appeals though.

Really, really no object? I would buy a bottle of really expensive wine, couple of grand or more, and see if I could tell the difference to what I normally reckon. Given my unsophisticated palate, I reckon not!
Thank you for the days, the days you gave me

I don't do posh.. not my thing..
A lovely room with balcony overlooking the promenade .. people watching..
A nice stroll along the seafront.. Pop into local charity shops...
That is all I need.. I have had my days of jetting off to far flung places...

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

That's how I feel Scrumps, but on Tuesday when I met my friend for coffee and cake she handed me an envelope
and said " One more fling ? " It was a passport application form

I didn't update my passport.. Maybe I will..
I cannot think of a country , other than Australia , that I would like to visit..
Where are you thinking of going to..?

I let my passport expire in 2021 I think it was, so I'll probably have to start from scratch.  We thought about listing 5 places we'd both like to visit and see if we agreed on a place.  We both like city breaks, neither of us interested in beach holidays.  I don't know if it will come off or not Scrumps, you know what it's like after 2 Americanos

Last passport I had was in 1966.
Do you think it needs renewing?

I'm sure you could get away with it unless they check the date carefully

There are three years left on mine, I don't think I'll use it.

I already have a couple of short trips organised, one is an overnight in Durham, to see my granddaughter who is studying there.  Train and hotel are booked.  The other is the annual spa visit with daughter, daughter in law and a couple of friends. We go to an amazing old house in lovely grounds, the food is wonderful, so are the treatments, and we come back so relaxed. It costs an arm and a leg, but it's worth it.  OH isn't up for going on holiday now, so short breaks for me are fine.

I do want to go to Scotland again this year, the visits have got fewer, but the connection is always there. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

In that case you should maybe renew it - after all you never know
