Dodgy looking package

My Liffey is on life-long prescription medication,  and has been for the last 3 years or more.
My veterinary pharmacists I buy from send me usual month's supply yesterday,  but as soon as I opened the packet I saw something very odd.

It has always come in 2 small white cardboard boxes with the company name on it, what the drug is, who it's for, along with the doseage.
This time, all the capsules  on the foil sheet were just dropped into a polythene bag.
This worried me.  There was no explanation, nothing to say about the unusual packaging,  and I instantly worried if it was a scam somehow.    I daren't give Lif any of it as I don't trust what may be in it,   but luckily I haven't completely run out  of her usual ones yet.

I phoned the company today and the lady I spoke to said she would check it.  She came back and said the Manager said it should not be in a bag like that.
I wondered if they had got a new employee who just packed it wrong,  or maybe they had run out of the usual boxes over Christmas even,  but I needed to be 100%  sure of the contents.
She said in order to investigate this properly,  she would need a photo of what  I had received.
Only thing is,  I have never learned how to  transfer photos from my phone over to my computer to send her.  (I don't do emails on my phone).

Went into a computer shop in town this afternoon and the bloke sold me the cable to join phone to computer,  but he warned me that if also depends on how my phone and computer are set up.
I am totally lost now.

So tonight I phoned my daughter-in-law and asked if they could come over this weekend and help me.
So lets hope we can do it between us.

I would also like  ask others if you think I'm daft querying it,  or would you have done the same if it never usually arrived like that?

I would have been just as worried
Thank you for the days, the days you gave me
[email protected]

klondike

I'd have requested a refund I think unless urgently needed.

Quite right to query it.  As for emailing piccies, for future reference, I'd be inclined to get WhatsApp on your phone.  Then you'd be able to send piccies to someone you trust, who could email it back to you for you to forward it as required.

Thanks Michael, Klondike and Dex.     I need to know its safe for her.
These drugs cost me £120 too,   so its not as if they're only a fiver.

Dex, my DIL did teach me how to WhatsApp a while ago,  but  do big companies have a WhatsApp address I wonder?
All this technology nowadays has never really been part of my life,  and I have never had anyone to teach me,  so I'm afraid I remain in ignorance most of the time.

I agree with Dex, I use What's App all the time for photos.....And it's a lot as I'm camera happy.
As for the packet, you did the right thing don't let your wee lass near them.

Thanks Raven,  but how do you get your photo's off your phone when you post them on here sometimes?
We can't send the forum a WhatsApp picture, can we?
I haven't a clue how to post from my phone onto here.

Raven

I upload photos to postimages and add them in from there. You can upload from a phone or tablet as well as a Computer. Just put postimages.org on your phone.

Thanks Raven.   I have used postimages  to post old photos from an album on my p.c.   but had no idea you could also do it from a phone.

Really daft question I expect,  but whereabouts do I put their address on my phone,  on Google search?

They are closed weekends,  so can't ring them and ask them anything.  They just sent me this email yesterday asking for photos as evidence to investigate further.

If you have a Kindle, perhaps you could use that. I have emailed photos
from mine.

WhatsApp addresses are just phone numbers.
The recipient needs the app on that phone though.

I upload from the photo album on my phone to postimages. Yes put it in the Google search bar and save it to your saved sites, then it's there when you need to use it. That's the way I do it, though I don't like using my phone for things like that if I can help it, too small too fiddly, If I can email the photos as attachments to my other email address on the big computer I do, so much easier then.
This is part of the saved sites list on my phone.

Thanks again Raven.
I will get my DIL to read it again when they come over tomorrow.    :upvote:

I am beginning to wish I'd had just sent it back with a letter explaining why.
