Ahh thanks for that, a bit of a delay though, Saturday is now final pack up day, movers arriving Monday we have them for the whole day.
Garage conversion is almost complete, rain stopped play on the cement pointing on the wall that used to be the garage door, new window in, interior walls and ceiling complete,  radiator and lights go in today. Temporary Bedroom being set up in Dining room. Dining room now in the Conservatory and the temporary bedroom to be converted into a snug for us old people after we move into the garage.......and breathe...

It's all very odd, a strange feeling of not being in charge. I have made all my own decisions since I was 15. Now it's all out of my hands, I grab at any scraps of info that fall my way like crumbs from the table. All I am required to do is supervise the garden and look after the bloody fish, it's going to be very strange

It's all very odd, a strange feeling of not being in charge. I have made all my own decisions since I was 15. Now it's all out of my hands, 

It all looks fine for you ..Any move in later life can be a difficult one.. We get stuck in our ways..
Your move sounds wonderful.. In charge of the garden.. a bit of dog walking...
Better than an old folks home any day..

As pensioners we are NOT in charge as far as our children are concerned..
They even ask us if we need to visit the toilet before going anywhere..
