Quote from: Raven on Yesterday at 10:52:29 AMThe Cardio Dr who just yesterday discovered the reason I was feeling so ill. Landed back in hospital yesterday in an almost collapsed state, turns out the medication I was on for my heart was slowly poisoning me. After blood tests and an ECG and a shed load of questions he discovered the digoxen was slowly poisoning me. I threw the remaining stuff out, takes 8 to 10 daysvto leave the system
That man literally saved my life.
My goodness Raven!   That it dreadful.   I thought you were doing so well, too.
Thank goodness this was discovered in time,  and I hope you start to feel much better very soon.

Quote from: muddy on Yesterday at 05:38:50 PMDavid Attenborough. ( after the man from the lottery )

I feel quite previleged to have lived at the same time as David Attenborough ( who will turn 100 next year )

What an amazing man .
I have always liked and respected that man Muddy,  but lately I have been turning his programmes off.
The reason for this is,  there seems to be an abundance of nothing but blood thirsty kills taking up too much of the programmes now.

Yes, I know that's how wild animals live,  but when nearly the whole programme is taken up with nothing but animals ripping each other apart,   I have to turn off.
And something that really irritates me even more,  is the way the kills are made more exciting by that awful excited orchestra which gets louder and louder as the terrified creature's demise approaches.   Why does an orchestra suddenly have to burst in??

I am interested in all aspects of animals lives,  not just someone filming terrified animals in their final minutes.
