Yep.  It's nice when one's better half makes things simple for us.  😊👍

Indeed.  Despite some ideas that I might in humour present, I love Marge and she is fully aware of my indecisiveness and lack of perception.  It is also nice for her to receive a present which she really wants!

Beat that then.

I have closed my Jacqui Lawson e-card account ( or rather, it'll cease sometime in late December).

The number of times I used it, it'd have been cheaper to but a card and post it first class.  😳

I've wondered whether to do the same as you this year, Dex.
They have just asked for the next renewal, and its not even due for another 4 weeks yet.
I don't use it that much anyway.

Obviously the "video" nature of the cards are lovely.  But, let's face it, it's a tad too American and luvvy dovey at times.

I'm going to look for other (ideally free) ecards to send.

I wondered if they were American too,  so I have just looked it up.
Here you go:

Jacquie Lawson cards are not American in origin,   they are British, created by the English artist Jacquie Lawson. However, the company is now a subsidiary of the American company American Greetings Corporation, though it maintains its UK-based operations and creative team.

I've never enjoyed Christmas as an adult but it's now the most dreadful time of the year.

I don't put up any decorations, nor do I put up any cards that I get.

We don't put up decorations either, neither of us are really Christmasy especially when all the animals needed seeing too. Our Christmas is simple, any work to be done is the morning, out with the Clydes in the afternoon, Christmas Dinner and telly in the evening. If the kids are here it's a walk in the afternoon.

I'm sorry that it's so sad for you.  It's a long day to get through on your own I'd imagine.

We'll have cards up, and a small tree.  Most of our stuff is years old!  I like the twinkly coloured lights, they remind me of my childhood.  We rarely spend Christmas at home, if the roads are clear we head for our son's for a few days.  Our daughter has adult step children as well as her own, they'll have a house full.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖
