Life Style Gift Cards

Has anyone ever had one of these gift cards ?   What a performance, you can only use it online.  I had to register it first of all, activate it, then decide which retailer I wanted to use it at.  I chose Boots, ' bought' two items to make up the £30, got to checkout and A)the card isn't recognised and B)my code is wrong ? 

Never had any problem with Boots own gift cards.   Sometimes things are so complicated, makes you feel like giving up ! or perhaps that's the idea ?

I have not heard of them..
I can't remember having had a gift card..
I have never bought one..
I buy gifts..  
We, as a family, put small gifts under the tree..
No young children... I miss those years..
 We still have a wonderful Christmas.. 
I still think it is a magical time..

Maybe its a security thing to stop people nicking a handful of gift cards as pressies?
