Cutting the grass

Are you still cutting your lawn?   
I did mowed my small lawn yesterday,  and I'm hoping that might be the last cut needed this year. 

I was surprised how long it was,  and it made me wonder if others are still mowing or have you given up for this year yet?

Hasn't been dry enough for a few weeks to give it one more mow.

I have given my lawn its last cut 4 times !

My grass is long and a lovely green..
It was all newly sown in September..
I dare not cut it .. I fear It might pull it up should it's roots be delicate..
I made the mistake of doing this last year..
I shall wait for the Spring..

I've hopefully got to the end of weedkilling my block paving for this year. I was considering painting some of them green but never got around to it.

You're so lazy.  I lift my blocks a few at a time and remove weed roots etc and karcher the blocks and replace them, every year.

I'm hoping that the bleached and burned root remains will fill the cracks and stop more weeds growing. Every year so far I have neen disappointed.

You could, of course, dig a tunnel under it all and pull the weeds out from the roots.
