Anne!!!  Make a far superior monarch.. I think not.. Far too serious and , sometimes, downright rude..
Charles has a far softer side..  He followed a much loved Queen who reigned for so long the country thought she would be here for evermore..  Which was unfortunate for him.. Such a hard act to follow..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I recall reading of a comment from her father - If it doesn't fart or doesn't eat hay, she isn't interested

That and some other pithy comments...

At least we don't get stuff like that from his son.

There was probably a good reason the Queen didn't step aside for Charles, she knew he was a qimp

Perhaps she is, but if she had become Queen, I am sure she would have acted accordingly, yet retaining her strength and willingness to speak out when necessary, but politely and with an effective choice of words.
I'm sure if she had taken the place of her mother, she would behave very much like her mother did.

Anne has many good qualities but she is also rude and entitled .
She has inherited most of them from her father including the above .
Apart from his startling good looks which none of his children seemed to have had the luck to inherit For such a stern character she seems to have been a doting indulgent mother to her own children .

Who on earth is the 'cracker'?  Surely not Fergie?
