The worst one I encountered was a couple of years back.
I was just getting into bed,  picked my pillow up to give it a little shake,  and a huge big black spider ran out and shot down the bottom sheet.  Eeeek

Thank God I moved the pillow though,  else I would have layed on it, and it might have gone on my face while I slept!
I  move my pillow every night now  before I get into bed, just incase.

Been spider-free the last couple of nights - phew.
Daresay when the cooler nights come they will be trying their luck again though.

This stuff I've got on my windows really does keep the big ones out !  Comes in various sizes, you just cut it to fit.

I like the look at that, Alex.  I will look into that.
Then I could still have my windows open but not be afraid of spiders sneaking in.

How do you fix it to the window frame,  and where do you get it from please?

Mups

Thanks very much,  Alex.
I will sort that out tomorrow.   :upvote:

I forgot to close my bedroom window till after dark tonight,  and then found not one,  but TWO big black spiders at the top of the bedroom wall.

Eeek  . . . .      Thank God for my spider catcher.

Can I recommend leaving your glasses off
