Mups

Yet ANOTHER  gay pair last night.

Raven

I've not watched Soaps for years. Like some of you I don't watch much telly these days. We record a film sometimes and at the moment Ridley. Just watch the Scottish News at 6pm daily, and if I'm up early for the pool I watch Breakfast TV for about 30 minutes.
Not a lot for the cost of a licence.

I certainly agree with that.  Marge, however, pays for it!

Me neither, though we are still watching 'Classic Coronation Street' episodes from about ten years ago.  The present-day ones are complete rubbish.

I've forgotten his name, Alex,  but that fella who's knocking off Kevin's Abbi.

See if this link works:

used to call them queers, but now they seem to be mainstream if TV can be believed
Thank you for the days, the days you gave me

In my opinion, the fact that they are to be seen anywhere and everywhere on the telly is due to 'certain people' are trying to make this behaviour appear 'normal'.
In my opinion, yes it is normal, but it is still a minority compared to normal sexual behaviour.

I am not so sure I would call it 'Normal,'  JB.

I think males/females were originally designed with compatible sexual organs in order to reproduce and keep the human race going to provide future generations.  Same as most other animals have to make their future generations too.

However,  two males or two females are not compatible for making babies,  so probably aren't what our Saviour had in mind at all.

I can fully understand two people of the same sex growing very fond of each other,  after all,  I'm sure most of us have (or had)  friends who we loved dearly,  but not in a sexual way.
It's just the intimate thing  with a partner of the same sex that I struggle to accept.

I quite agree, Mups.  It isn't 'normal' because the 'norm' is male or female.  Physically, there is no doubt.
Perhaps I should have said 'it is accepted'.  I also accept that it may be a mental effect which is beyond a person's control.  It could also be a mental change due to something seen or experienced.

In all honesty, I ought to mention that 'our saviour' doesn't fully chime with me because, although I was born and brought up as a Christian, I am a born again atheist!  😉

I'm not overly fussed by homosexuals. Just so long as they don't ram it down my throat

🤢 very explicit k.

I'm friendly with a lesbian and her partner. Two nice women.  I didn't know she was gay until she introduced me to her partner.  I really don't care except when it's as klondike says.  I have a different view re some men who decide they are women, especially in sport, or at the start of a trial! Never minded Hayley in Corrie. 😊
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Scrumpy

I think it is a 'Free for all' out there..
It would seem that no-one is sure who , or what, they will end up in bed with at the end of the evening..

I don't watch any soaps.. anymore..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I don't know about the current Cor. St., but still watching the superior version from several years ago.  In that, we still have Hayley and, of course, a very obvious pouffe.  Somehow, to me Hayley as a woman who has had the 'op' seems more acceptable than the pouffe!
