I'll second that Zoony, same old same old and too many of them.  The newer ones Raven put on the other place were ok, not so repetitive.  Some people like games, so I suppose you can't please everyone.

Use the ignore board option.

You can choose here to ignore particular boards. When a board is ignored, the new post indicator will not show up on the board index. New posts will not show up using the "unread post" search link (when searching it will not look in those boards) however, ignored boards will still appear on the board index and on entering will show which topics have new posts. When using the "unread replies" link, new posts in an ignored board will still be shown.

It's what I did "back home". I am participating in them here to give the board more life for those who like them. If PF members take a peep I'd rather they saw an active community than a desert.

Once again I'd rather PF was at least put on usable hosting. The other annoyances I can live with. I'll just leave this board here even if it is - it's not as if it costs me anything and has given me something to do other than drool in front of a TV.

I didn't take it as unkind Zoony. But let's wait and see how things pan out, now the cats been brought out of the bag over on the other forum. 
It might be enough to make Chris get the finger out and fix things.
