I have worked all my life and now I am free, free to do what I want and just enough money to let me get by.

Of course they do!
If I could go to another country in which I would be given free housing, free food, free healthcare, free protection by the police, free sex with young girls... er, delete the last one... I'd certainly go there.

You're absolutely right JB..  You would also be allowed to commit any crime you want and use "cultural differences" as a defence to keep you out of chokey.

That's a question I ask myself, too. My daughter and my granddaughters are fans of the Uk . My granddaughters attended an English boarding school for one year. 
True, the UK is a nice country and compared to Germany life seems to be much easier than here and the English language is by far less complicated than the German. One of my mother's tenants from Kosovo living and working for more than 5 years in  Germany is still struggling with our language and his wife - she speaks English, but no German. 
As to the "cultural difference"  - in our today's paper I read that "violence" is more prevalent (verbreitet) in the countries where the immigrants come from than in ours. Think of all the countries where women are oppressed and have no rights.

Flood the Falklands with every single illegal immigrant, and when it's totally full hand it back to Argentina.

Might as well, as there's no way we have sufficient armed forces to defend it's sovereignty anyway, and any fossil fuels that may be lurking around the shores won't be drilled for since Milliband won't let it.
